Tom Ridge and Barry McAfferty were on Hardball tonight. Ridge said they ought to pay for the MN bridge repair with user fees.
Said it was the most common sense way to do it. Why is OKC looking at a big bill for all citizens via bonds instead of paying
for the entire crostown with user fees?
McAfferty said we need our best and brightest doing algebra in 8th grade, calculus in HS, then in college go into engineering
and architecture instead of law and leisure management or hedge funds management.
A US run hedge fund just invested big in a road project in Turkey.
McAfferty also mentioned we should be sending freight across country by rail instead of trucks since all our big trading
partners and the fast growing Pacific rim countries use rail, not trucks.
LOL
Some people out there make sense. We need more in Oklahoma.
