Our pit is way too low and it killed my shoulders and back when I was
first getting started. We were pretty much seasonal so I was working
with many fresh cows for longer periods of time during milking and the
reaching out to the cows nearly did me in. The pit height would
definitely have to change, although I purchased a dozen Pepsi crates
that work well to give me that extra lift.
