The grape producers in this area use wire winders that go on the 3 pt hicth
of a tractor and run off the pto. I don't think they are too expensive...you
might be able to find a used one. You do need to be carefull with them. Run
them slowly and make sure someone is where they can shut the pto off
immediatly if the wire catches anything.

Subject: [Graze-l] High Tensil Wlre
Greetings:
Does any one have plans for a way to re-wind high tensile wire with
out having it all over the pasture? Would like to fence in
some areas of corn stalks in an area with out a good perimeter fence.
I had good success with 14 ga. wire and ribbon or tape
But the last couple years the deer have gotten so bad, the will break
it 3 or 4 times a day. I am planning on trying a strand or two
of 12 1/2 ga. high tensile, but would like an easy way to role it up in
the spring.
Thanks,
