Best way to control deer is a lead spray, applied with a .270, 30-06, or
similar caliber applicator. Deer have gotten to be a major problem in
Wisconsin due to DNR game "mis"-management.
Even though WI has more deer hunters than the entire US Marines deployed in
the WW2, the population has reached the point where deer breed faster than
we can kill the deer.
Of a related concern is the remote possibility that grazing critters could
be infected with TB or another nasty spread by the deer in our
pastures????? Hopefully most disease doesn't jump species but???
