Here is another FASStrack quote from a Reuters release reporting an
article in the journal Nature.

It tells of the discovery that RNA may be the trigger that changes the
harmless prions into rogue infectious agents.
They also report that in a separate study, also reported in Nature,
Adrian Gauze and colleagues at Zurich University described how the rogue
protein may enter the brain.
That copy of Nature might be a good one to check out if you have access
to a scientific library.
