Good Afternoon List Friends, This is a long and pretty technical paper in the current "The Scientist" online magazine. If protein folding is too technical for your tastes just hit the delete button now!! Still I thought it might be of interest to anyone who is trying to understand the prion diseases like CWD, BSE, CJD vCJD and Scrapie. The paper also has a bibliography of 8 references, including e-links to 2 of the papers. http://www.the-scientist.com/yr2003/sep/feature_030908.html a> If that is your interest be aware that the issue of chaperones and misfolded prions is dealt with toward the end of the article so don't be discouraged :o) Ross Gould, P.Ag.
