Good Evening List Friends,
This is a link to an abstract titled REPEATED CHALLENGE WITH PRION
DISEASE: THE RISK OF INFECTION AND IMPACT ON INCUBATION PERIOD, found on
the on-line publication of the Proceedings of the National Academy of
Science USA (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA).

http://www.pnas.org/cgi/content/abstract/1833677100v1

I found it on today's posting from the Food Safety Net (FSnet) from the
University of Guelph. In short they found: "although a trend exists for
the risk of infection with prion disease to increase with repeated
doses, it does so to a lesser degree than is expected if challenges
combine independently or in a cumulative manner."

Anyone wanting further information can find the authors and their
institutions listed under the title of the abstract on-line

Regards
Ross Gould, P.Ag.
