Hi,
Occasionally someone, for one reason or another, will fail
to pick or combine their corn until the following spring.
Generally, machine harvested yields, by then, are very low
due to "down" corn. I'd say about 1/3 of normal or less is
harvested in saleable condition.
I think corn grazed the following spring and summer would
result in very low dry matter intake from the corn and poor
quality feed.
It would probably be better to strip graze the corn in the
winter rather than wait until the following spring or
summer.
