Good day all:)
I've tested my soils several times over past 5 years, and have gradually
brought pH up to 6.8 to 7.0 in most fields. Phosphorus was OK too. Soils tend to
be highly mineralized in calcium, manganese, etc.
Nitrogen is not detailed. But I suspect I need to supply more even though
there is a considerable amount of white clover/red clover, along with the N in
the manure from 100 head of beef cattle.
I have never measured actual pasture values. How does one do so? What are
"good numbers"? How do these number actually relate to animal nutrition? Mineral
needs, etc.
Look forward to your comments. Thanks. Frank in Kentucky
