I'm pulling your leg as hard as I can. :) You, Russ, have such very
easy legs to pull.
But, if you want to compare hours, I put in 12 to 16 hour days for
years before farming. We still do put in long hours if you add it all
but farming is a lot more enjoyable and frankly we put in fewer hours.
You're right, it isn't in the same class as the above mentioned 'jobs'
- it is better. The trick as with anything is to pick and choose a bit
so what you do is less drudgery and more enjoyable.
I'll take the farming. It is retirement for me!
