This is a link to the Meristem Land and Science article on a project  at 
Highland Feeders in Northern Alberta to convert their feedlot waste into 
electrical energy, dry biofertilizer and irrigation quality water.

The project uses Integrated Manure Utilization System (IMUS) developed 
by Dr. Xiaomei Li,  the lead research scientist on the IMUS project at 
the Alberta Research Council, .  It is supported by the Greenhouse Gas 
Mitigation Project, sponsored in part by the Canadian Cattlemen's 
Association.  For more information on this and other projects related to
