Hey, folks, I need your advice:
Having decided not to make hay this year (phew!!!), I've just secured a
supply of dry grass hay for wintering my 50-odd dry cows. My plan is to
unload the semi-loads directly into the winter pastures this fall, cover
them, put poly wire around them, and park the tractors for the winter. Am
I dreaming?
I'm getting square 600 lb bales. My questions are, how to cover them, how
to portion them out, and what else can go wrong.....
