It's spring, I see a green haze on my fields and I am again faced 
with the novice grazier's question

When do I turn out?

How do you all determine when is the right time to move the animals 
onto pasture? What criteria do you sue to decide?

Do your decisions change based on snowpack, irrigation, class of 
animal or other factors?

Just want to see how others approach this critical decision.
