Yes, imidacloprid is extremely expensive. It is a systemic insecticide in
seed potato production here as Admire or Provado. Other names are Confidor,
Gaucho, Grubex, Marathon, Merit, Pointer, Premier, Premise, Zelmone.
The chlorpyrifos is being jerked from a lot of uses, due to it's being
looked at as an endocrine disrupter. Been getting a lot of bad press from
use in California. All the organic phosphates are going to be jerked by EPA,
so be looking for something else long term. AKA Lorsban, Dursban
