Don't over do the chickory. When it heads out, cows won't eat it.
Trefoil does well in wetter locations, tolerates lower pH than many legumes
(just because it does, doesn't mean you should cheat on a liming program).
It is slow to establish, doesn't compete well with other plants (so an
agressive grower like ryegrasses aren't the best companion.) You may best
establish trefoil using full tillage, plow, disk, level and plant, or use a
rotovator tiller.
Needs to be rested longer between grazings and do not graze hard.
