Dick, sorry about the lateness in replying. I always put off to the last
minute getting ready for calving and then the proverbial hits the fan.
Oh well go with the flow 8>)
The row of trees run north / south and it is the east side that we get
the extra warmth.
As far as the uv rates and skin cancer, I believe if a search was done
on the NZ health dept website you may find some figures on skin cancer
rates.
I'm afraid NZ farmers are fast becoming second class citizens (like most
other countries) with numbers dropping, and therefore voting power
diminishing. It is all user pays these days, next time I get to mainland
US I will pop over for a cup of tea.
