Dear Russ,
It may be that bloat has been solved in the US, however there are many of us
from other parts of the world who do graze and who have had to deal with
this problem in a variety of ways when poloxalene or rumensin is too
inconvenient or too expensive to use. I benefited greatly from this last
string in new solutions to an old problem.
Ian's insight into soil fertility is very interesting. Any comments on the
effects of herbaceous plants such as plantago or Rumex in decreasing the
risk of bloat?
Thanks for all the input!

*** Personaly I am surprised to see this discussion on bloat. I had thought
that this was a long ago solved problem. At least for Americans.
