Murray, What is a 'mechanical mulcher', and why have I never seen that
machine here in NEUSA? I just mow any poorly grazed paddock, and the
next crop grows through that residue. Dick

Kykuyu is grazed here in Northland New Zealand and we operate one farm
with extensive Kykuyu pastures. It is a challenge to manage but can
yeild very well as long as you keep it under control and have your
cattle eating the fresh green tips. It must not be allowed to build up a
mat and we use mechanical mulchers to keep it under control in the
summer

In Costa Rica we graze kikuyu pastures as rye grass is practically
non existent. I was wondering if anyone on the list has kikuyu
pastures??
