A loss is a loss is a loss. Regardless of who took it, it's still gone. We
have plenty of hunters here. Every redblooded male in the entire NYC area
converges on this area, plus the Adirondacks (but the Catskills are closer to
NYC) and yet we still have deer. Can't shoot 'em all anyway. That farm
actually brings in quite a few hunters, too. They do have some limits on what
can be taken though, as they want big trophy bucks, not little spike horns.
We get a nuisance permit every year but I think that's still only good for
certain months of the year.
