Asian Bird Flu is already out of the bottle and we haven't done anything to
put the cork back in. The main objection to animal and premises ID is who
controls the information. Given that credit card information has been less
than secure in several cases...............
Unfortunately, the NCBA is in bed with the major meatpackers and Tyson
Foods, Excel, etc. would love to know the numbers of cattle, their ages,
and when they'd be ready for market.
