Hi Ann,
I've been using something similar to Coleby's mixes for several years.
Differences are I mix it with salt (Redmond's) and use half dolomite and
half gyspsum to get the sulfur as I can't get yellow sulfur around here.
For the sheep I mix it up without the copper sulfate. All stock eat it
avidly.
I have not done any controlled experiment to analyse results; but my black
calves are definitely blacker than they used to be and we have had no health
issues in the herd.
