First you say that everything is enironmental and management, then =
say that your low cell count was genetic.

I think you know that low SCC is a combination. We believe in good =
prep - stimulating the natural milk let down, (I was flagged once by =
the milk inspector for having an expired bottle of oxy (told the =
inspector she should be happy that we didn't often need to give the cows =
shots for letdown) cleanliness which is easy with good lanes and pasture =
    for controlling mud potential.

I contemplated going certified organic since we didn't use much in the =
medication dept. anyhow. But at the time, you had to wait to get on the =
organic pickup route and with no other organic producers near me, it =
would have been a stretch to get their truck to make the long detour =
    here.

Strong immune systems are hard to defeat, but pig sty management will =
even defeat the best immune systems in the long run.
