Cheap oil - courtesy the US taxpayer supported military.
Currency exchange rate - fair would be one NZ dollar = one US dollar.
Dairy imports do not pay the 15 cent per hwt check off so US dairymen are
subsidizing all grow the market efforts.

Not an apples and apples comparison. But the US is perfectly capable of
being self-sufficient in dairy products, so there is no need to import dairy
products if imports were not discouraging domestic dairy production by
creating oversupply and depressing prices.

No, you won't answer the criticism of Red China for butchering political
prisoners, then selling the body parts for organ transplants because you've
stuck your head in the sand, ignoring it.

Isolation worked to change South Africa. It would have worked with Red
China but spraWLmart wanted those cheap goods.

Iraq is hardy an example of isolationism. The US and its allies removed a
vicious dictator who massacred his own countrymen, ran rape rooms, filled
mass graves attacked neighboring countries, provided financial support for
terrorism, hosted terrorist training camps, and documents are revealing even
more as they are translated into English.

Iran is the fault of Jimmy Carter pulling our support from the Shah, who
wasn't perfect, but allowed the Iranians far more freedom, access to
colleges, and more rights for Iranian women than has been the case since
the radical Islamists took over.
