We've got some really nice Kerry cross bull calves, for those who wish
to put some ancient grassy fortitude into their herd.
We have Kerry X Ayrshire, X Jersey, X Guernsey. These calves were
raised by their moms for 6-8 weeks, and most began eating grass within a
few days of hitting the ground--we had one who was pooping both grass
and colostrum on his first day on Earth!
We are especially interested in folks who will use these boys to breed
their mother's race (Aryshire, Guernsey, Jersey), so perhaps we can get
back a 1/4 Kerry, 3/4 whatever daughter down the road.
I've got some photos of the little blighters, if anyone is interested.
