I start calving March 1. When I start breeding May 28, I breed =
indiscriminantly everybody that shows standing heat. Some of the late =
calvers I have been able on rare occasions to get settled 2-3 after =
calving. Although I should admit I use "Cheap"semen on those
occasions.

worth breeding? Or, if a cow comes into heat, how long in =
milk must she
be, before she has a chance to conceive, keeping in mind that =

cows bred is more important than number of services?
