When we got on this list we were milking around 60 cows but were very
committed. Vaughan Jones is who got me on the list gave us the
direction we needed to map our future. We are now milking 900
seasonally. Skinny cows that last 2 lactations that need huge amounts
of energy supplement are a loser here, the northeast and WISCONSIN.
If i understand this right, you don't even graze dairy cows for a
living so I do not know how you come off as such an authority. That
crap that "it can't be done here" is always the excuse for lousy
farmers.
