My family farm had dairy cows from 1883 until 2003, when my wife's cancer
forced a move into raising Holstein steers. I milked cows before you were
born. I cite other sources as authorities, such as the UW, Cornell, Larry
Tranel, Tom Kriegel, GRAZE etc. but apparently you blow right past that for
some unknown reason and attack the messenger.
In addition, I've devoted a great deal of study of legumes and grasses since
the early 1990's in order to help other WI farmers sort through all the
magic foo-foo dust claims. TF was just one of those magic seeds sold as
"soft leaved" "palatable" "cows will dive right in and eat" deals that
hasn't performed as advertised here in WI. Buyer beware.
