How do the planters used in no-till in your area handle rocks? The
no-till options I've seen tried are only good if the ground is free
of rocks, not really an option here, or we'd be plowing.
Also in my market while not certified organic I sure don't want nor
can I sell meat from animals grazed on round-up resistant crops. I'm
curious about the customer base where those crops are planted, Don't
people refuse to purchase products produced on such forages? They
sure do here....
So it looks like I'm back to what we've already pretty much figured
is the key, finding persistent permanent forages that work for long
season grazing and can be cut for hay in good years. IOW fescues
primarily.<G>
