My broccoli has yet to produce even one head this year! The plants are now
a good 24" tall and bushy but no sign of a head even starting to form yet.
I should have cut the main head and be harvesting side shoots by now. What
a strange year.

Re Jerry and Mary Schultz msg: This year my broccoli started having small
pieces when the plant was
only 6-8 inches tall. They never have produced any usual large heads,
and I have to watch them carefully or they go to seed. I'm assuming
that the heat and humidity has something to do with the unusual
production. I had someone else have the same problem so I thought I'd
try to find an answer. Thanks
