Question about fall crocus. They are called colichium or something like
that, aren't they? I've seen them in Jung's catalog and have considered it
but have hesitated due to cost. Do they multiply like other spring bulbs?
How long do the blooms last and are there multiple blooms? Thanks!

speaking of crocus bulbs -- If any of you don't already have fall-blooming
crocus, get some next year. They are so wonderful. They have become my
favorite flower. I have had them blooming in December in mild years. They
are still blooming this year, peeking up through the snow whenever we get an
inch or two.
