Hi Carolyn,
On a big arbovitae, I've found that using some old nylons to tie branches together has worked really well.
I had a tall one that split into a V a few years ago after a heavy snow and stayed that way. It's still tied with the same
nylons and is doing great.

Well my tall Arborvitae's are not recovering much from Saturdays snow. Should I help them by tying the branches together for
support?
