[Mastgar] Pointer to pictures of My Favorite Autumn Red

From: Carolyn Kay (cmkay_at_wbl.whitebear.k12.mn.us)

Isn't technology great! Thanks for sharing. I am definitely going to move mine and hope that next year it looks like yours.

I promised some pictures of my My Favorite Autumn Red. Here is a link to
three thumbnail pictures. If you will select a picture on the page you can
see a larger image.

This is a single plant, purchased in the fall of 2001. It is about 3 feet
in diameter now.
It looked terrible when I purchased it, fading, striping, etc. It has been
blooming for about a week and a half
now, and it is beautiful. It doesn't look anything like the plant I bought
last year, much
to my delight. The first buds to bloom have not faded noticeably. They
look great.
Everyone in the neighborhood has been asking what it is.

http://home.attbi.com/~williamswinnie/flowers.htm

It is on the north side of house, in full
sun about 6 hours or so a day. It is in relatively heavy clay soil that has
been
amended to some degree, but isn't great soil, and it is mulched.
