Oh how I have waited for this to come up. Many years ago, a neighbor could
not figure out why their sod was rolled up every morning. They would go roll
it back out, water and the next morning, found it rolled up again. Suggested
it was racoons and to stake it. They did and low and behold, the next morning,
stakes laying on the ground and sod rolled up.
They did a stake out, no pun intended, to find out what was happening with
their sod. That's how they found the racoons.
To tell the truth, I am not sure how they eventually got their sod to grow
but they do have a great lawn now.
