If the problem is fungus gnats from the soil of plants there is Bt
product from Gardens Alive that I have used in the past to get rid of
them. It took a couple of applications to get the various life cycles
but it did work. The application is just mixing the product with water
if I remember correctly. Here is the web link to Gardens Alive if you
would like it.

I couldn't stop bringing plants in and out with the seasons. Cliff,
you have better control than I. I'm presently being rewarded with
gorgeous amaryllis blossoms from the plant I took outside in the spring
and brought in this fall it also seems to have a baby bulblet coming in
along side the mother. This plant was being threatened by me since it
didn't do a thing last year. It has saved itself. Also have a calla
lilly in bloom. Oh yes and the hibiscus. So far so good with no insect
invasions.
Blooming in Mpls.
