There are some plants that just won't give up. I have blooming annual
verbena, perennial scabiosa, phlox, salvia, lamium, a couple grey-headed
coneflowers and a recently planted Cardinal flower along with the mums,
asters and geraniums. They look fairly sad but it's nice to still see a few
flowers around...even tho it's supposed to be miserable this weekend.
