He can buy the square peat pots thru the internet:

or buy Jiffy peat
pots through Wal-Mart or Home Depot.
Sound like he's overwatering his pots, thus creating an ideal environmental
condition for white mold to grow.
A fan may help but he really needs to watch how much water he gives each
pot.
