About once each summer I see an indigo bunting in my strawberry patch. This
year it was actually on the bird feeder once! I assumed they were too shy
to come into our busy yard.

Subject: [Mastgar] bird on window
I have a disturbed bird I'm concerned about. All day yesterday and again
this morning it keeps flying into the windows on two sides of the house (and
they are definitly NOT clean). It's also singing it's little heart out.
Doesn't seem to be getting hurt. Wouldn't feel so bad it it was just an old
sparrow but it is an Indigo Bunting. Such a beautiful bird but a little late
in the season for it to first show up. We watch birds a lot so know I
haven't seen it before.
