The bird may be seeing it's own reflection in your window and treating it as an invader of it's territory. I've heard of other
varieties of birds doing the same thing. His singing may also be letting his neighbors know that he has claimed your yard as
his territory and others should stay out.
I know someone who had to hang some sheets on the outside of some of her windows because she couldn't stand seeing/hearing the
little bird practically knock itself senseless 100 times a day. Once the reflection was covered, the bird quit. I think that
once their babies have fledged, they may be less focused on defending their territory and you could take the sheets down. I've
seen lots of other bird babies out flying around - so they may be close to the end of their nesting time. Good luck!

I have a disturbed bird I'm concerned about. All day yesterday and again this morning it keeps flying into the windows on two
sides of the house (and they are definitly NOT clean). It's also singing it's little heart out. Doesn't seem to be getting
hurt. Wouldn't feel so bad it it was just an old sparrow but it is an Indigo Bunting. Such a beautiful bird but a little late
in the season for it to first show up. We watch birds a lot so know I haven't seen it before.
