Hope someone can help with the following problem regarding my oak trees. I
am in Anoka County and have both Red and White Oaks on my property. I noticed
yesterday that my White Oak leaves are browning, curling and wilting. The Red
Oaks look fine. This is happening on the tree from about the middle of the
tree branches on down. The top of the tree canopy looks OK. What is
happening? Can anything be done to stop it? It doesn't behave like Oak Wilt - ie:
leaves turning brown from the canopy and working its way down the tree, but Anoka
county does have its problems with Oak Wilt. Is it something to do with this
wet, cool weather we have had all month? Thanks for any help you can send my
way.
