What will gardeners have to look forward to as our land thaws? MPR
personality and garden columnist Deb Brown might have an idea, shes been
answering questions about gardening for 27 years, and shell share some of
her favorite questions and solutions next month on April 3rd at Classes
Without Quizzes on the St. Paul Campus.
Right after Debs talk, you can catch University Horticulturist and
Associate Professor Mary Meyer, who will bring you up to date on the latest
in lawn research at the U. Some of these topics include the new No-Mow
and Eco Lawns along with ways to reduce water and pesticide use.
Remember Master Gardeners, Classes Without Quizzes does count for
Continuing Education credit!
Deb and Mary are part of almost a dozen seminars on a range of topics
including: food safety, obesity, renewable power, remnants of Shackletons
Antarctic voyage, and more!
Classes without Quizzes is more than a one-day forum to hear about the
latest research at the University. Our annual event attracts a diverse
crowd; youll have a chance to network over a catered lunch with
like-minded folks and professionals and make new friends.
Hurry and register, the deadline is coming up in just over two weeks!
