A friend asked me about her Bittersweet bush. She said it did not bloom at
all this year. Anyone else out there that has had a no-blooming Bittersweet?
Weather related maybe? Also, she is aware that you need a male and female
plant to produce berries. She bought 2 at a nursery that were not marked
either male or female and they were not in bloom. She was told by an employee
that for sure she had one of each. How can you tell if it is male or female if
they are not in bloom?
Also, what does the flower look like for a male plant and a female plant. I
would assume they look different.
