if they're not fliers, one could use any sort of temporary fencing, perhaps?
mine never "free range" except on the odd occasion the gate somehow blows
open(!!!!!) - yet they don't seem bored, and haven't ever wandered far the 3
or 4 times they did accidentally go walkabout. they have a couple of trees
and stumps to go onto, and a bit of a hidey-place. when they're in their new
enclosure (horribly, it's still not quite ready lo these many months later)
it won't have any trees growing inside it, only maybe some shrubs, so i was
going to put in extra stumps &/or benches for their long-distance viewing
pleasure.
