Writers,
Here are two pieces that deserve letters today:
1. On a Gray Day, Same Sex Couples Make Colorful Point at Egg Roll
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-eggroll18apr18,1,4296954.story?coll=la-headlines-nation
Notice that the last sentence of the story mentions a protest by Friends
of Animals about the treatment of egg laying chickens. This is a point
we should follow up on.
Send letters at:

2. Vital Vitamins?
http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.php?id=35406&adid=health
This piece in the Indiana Daily Student mentions ethical veganism. This
is a good opportunity to respond with a letter on the cruelty of factory
farming.
Short letters of 100-250 words should be sent to letters@indiana.edu.
There is a good chance of being published in this paper, it seems. Make
sure to include your name, work/university status and affiliation, and
phone number.
