1. Gil recently had a letter called "Cluck, cluck" on chickens published
in The Bridge.
2. I found through Google that I was published in later April in the
Indiana Daily Student on the topic of vegetarianism
(http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.php?id=35511).
Both of these letters took topics that didn't deal directly with animal
welfare, but used the mention of chickens or vegetarianism as entry
points for letters.
